Have you lost your phone to water damage - this trick has saved me once, and our friends and customers several times.

First and foremost: DO NOT TURN THE PHONE RIGHT BACK ON AFTER IT FALLS IN THE WATER. That is usually what causes the cell phone to fail.  They usually cut off when they hit the water, but its the turning it back on that 'fries' the circuit.

IMMEDIATELY Take the battery off - and leave it off - that will help prevent an accidental turn on, and give more drying ability.

Let your phone dry out for a few days. I put mine inside an Aquapac Phone Case and stuff it with 5 of the silica gel pacs and leave it in a sunny window for a few days.

After a few days drying time, give it a try.   This is not a guaranteed solution, but we've helped a number of friends and clients recover their phones. And while it's inconvenient to be without your phone for a few days, its sure cheaper than buying a new phone.

Of course, I'd tell you the real solution is to always keep your phone in a Waterproof Phone Case - then you never have to worry about accidentally dropping your phone in water again.
